The Belden Collection is the perfect solution for shared or small spaces. This bunk bed is made out of solid wood frames and features extra storage underneath. To finish off the collection, we use applique molding on drawer fronts and stylish drawer pulls. Plus, it's GREENGUARD Gold Certified, which means it's built to contribute to cleaner air for a healthy home. HOW IT IS CONSTRUCTED Built from solid poplar wood, plywood and MDF (medium density fiberboard), an engineered wood that lends exceptional strength and ensures that the bed will endure over time. Our exclusive finishes are applied by hand for exceptional richness, durability and depth of color. Masterfully crafted with a kiln-dried solid wood frame and tenon-and-groove construction for structural integrity. Drawers feature English dovetail joinery and waxed wooden glides which ensure smooth motion. Sturdy half-moon safety stops keep drawers securely in place. The use of veneers results in flawless surfaces and consistent color tones. Finished by hand in child-safe, water-based paint, which provides durability to each piece. Lower bunk bed is equipped with two storage drawers along one side, with applique molding on each drawer front. Simply White, Charcoal and Weathered Navy all feature brushed nickel drawer pulls. Seadrift features oil-rubbed Bronze drawer pulls. Includes two guardrails for the bunk and a solid wood ladder. Ladder can be installed on either end of bunk bed. A bunk mattress (mattresses are sold separately) must be used on both the upper and lower bunks; do not use a box spring on either bunk. This bunk bed does not convert into two separate beds.
